My mobility and balance improved, my range of motion increased, and my overall strength and muscle tone increased. I no longer take medication for arthritis nor for high cholesterol. I have lost over 70 pounds and a number of dress sizes. I look and feel younger and am in better shape than I have been for most of my adult life. And now, at the age of 62, I am able to keep up with my grandnieces and grandnephews, something I could not have done 4 years ago. I can garden and go for bike rides or hikes and not be out of breath. I can also pull clothes from my closet and not worry about whether they will fit or not because I have been able to maintain the weight loss that occurred in our first year of training.
I have been working with Michelle for over a year now on balance and core strengthening. We have a group of "people of a certain age" working out twice a week. The workouts are always different which keeps it fun and building on what we have done before. She is highly professional and works with all of us based on our ability. The best example of what I was able to achieve based upon our workout was last fall during a golf trip. I hit the ball farther than ever and was completely surprised. CERTIFIED PLANT-BASED NUTRITION
I have studied the physiological reasons that we are drawn to foods that do not support our health and can help explain the role of nutrition in the development of chronic and degenerative diseases including cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. I can provide evidence about the misperceptions about protein, fat, carbohydrates, and supplements. I promote a whole food, plant-based lifestyle.
CORRECTIVE EXERCISE SPECIALIST
I am specially trained in helping individuals eliminate joint and muscle pain. My knowledge of the body allows me to assess, teach, and prescribe corrective exercises. I am able to design exercise programs to successfully treat and prevent muscle and joint pain caused by musculoskeletal imbalances.
GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR
This is where it all comes together for me. I love to teach safe and effective exercise classes in a group setting. The ability to share your desire, effort and emotion with a group is all inspiring. We are focused yet fun. We are fast but not furious. Lastly we are accountable and accommodating.

Conditioning For Life was established in November of 2007 as a personal training business. Michelle has worked with many one on one clients, instructed group classes and mentored individuals and businesses to better health and individual success. Her wide range of abilities are unique and dynamic in that she has unlimited resources to work with any individual or individuals searching for successful strategies for improving health and happiness. Michelle has discovered that there is a whole lot more to being healthy than hiring a trainer, nutritionist or counselor to 'fix' you.
